Where are ad dollars *really* being spent? Some surprising numbers #wordlesswednesday

Ok - this is a graph with some words. So kill me. Not exactly a pure #wordlesswednesday, but it's interesting.

You can chalk this up to "damn statistics" if you like:

  • TV spend is up from 2010
  • Radio spend is up from 2013
  • Outdoor is up *every year* since 2010
  • Internet is up a lot every year since 2010
  • The only stuff dying is Magazine and Newspaper (but we all know that those models have shifted to web/mobile/tablet)

The take-away? Advertising spend goes up no matter what!
